Flemish Author and Islam-expert Wim van Rooy explains in this televised interview some of the parallels between leftist and islamist doctrines, and how the left facilitates the rise of Islam in the West. In Dutch, with English subtitles.
It is very hard to understand [how Islam works] based on our Christian-Humanist conceptual frameworks. Because we always assume the best, and we assume inclusion But Islam does the opposite: there are Muslims and non-Muslims Christianity used to say: “let all come to me”, women and slaves. So this is an essential difference that people don’t want to see. And sometimes aren’t able to see, because they miss the conceptual framework to be able to acknowledge this.
